I just wanted to say that I have recently purchased a copy of the Sonic Boom Over Europe download of Rock Am Ring on the back of all the comments on how great a show it was.

It was good but I thought I'd heard better performances by Kiss. In particular I thought Paul was not at his best.

Look I don't want to turn this into a hating session on Kiss or anything like that. I love Kiss and will see them every time they come out here and I think Paul is one of the great Rock And Roll lead singers of all time. I guess I am asking my fellow KAA members do they think the same??? Is his health ok? Are the band playing too many dates in close proximity? It seemed to me Paul was really struggling to hit the high notes and also really struggling with his timing for alot of his songs.

I am not trying to retire the band or Paul for that matter. I guess I felt sorry for Paul knowing that his voice sounded like it was under duress. I saw him live in 2007 on the solo tour and 2008 at the Melbourne GP and he was sounding as good as ever.

What do others think?

Ive also noticed that Paul has been struggling of late. He's mentioned in a few recent interviews that he's not been at his best vocally. I know that he's had a couple of bouts of flu on this tour. He's sounding better on the latest live clips... Hitting the high notes on I was made for loving you again..

I think he may be breathing in too many paint fumes?

I think Paul's health is fine. Sure, he's had some issues vocally which he alluded to in the online webcast a few weeks ago, but I don't think he has "health" issues.

I had noticed also that Paul had been at times struggling to hold his voice up at different intervals whilst on tour...last year and this year...has sounded much better of late though on the Hottest Show...tour dates thus far...but after 35+ years , thousands of shows sooner or later it will take its toll...fortunately for Paul it's appeared to have never failed him , in fact its only gotten better...he's still got it probably just at a point now in his life where he cant hit the high notes like he used to! Like those salad days from the 80's and early 90's where he could shatter glass!!
